Just one mistake

My eldest son–Martin Howell–has just made his parents proud again. This morning, he took an entrance exam in Celestial School, a private elementary school in Marikina Heights, Marikina City run by former UP teachers.

He passed the exam with flying colors. In fact, he only got one mistake out of 52 items. I learned that that mistake was regarding the test question: The house is made of ______ a. wood, b. would, c. word. I’m sure that out of eagerness to finish his exam as fast as he could, he inadvertently answered “b. would”. “It’s funny,” my wife Lea said. “That question was one of the easiest.”

Well, Kuya Martin is just human.

Congrats ….

  2. dong,

    and with his age,
    it’s promising to be
    more than human
    because for sure,
    and just like his
    parents, he’ll be
    growing up more
    humane to the cause.
