Annoyance-free copy-and-paste feature of OpenOffice.org

Getting annoyed by the copy-and-paste feature of OpenOffice.org? Did you experience pasting a text from Writer to Impress only to see that your Impress layout is put in disarray? Did it annoy you that the copied text containing numbered paragraphs spoiled the clean layout of your target document?
Solution: Ignore the Edit->Paste menu item. The Edit->Paste Special menu item is your friend. Choosing this gives you the option to paste just the unformatted text. Alternatively, you may issue keyboard command Ctrl+Shift+V->U->[Enter] to paste the text on the fly.
